Press Release for 'Good to See You' - May 2022
Good to See You’ is a refreshing new entry in the impressive discography Henry Taylor has established over the years
Henry Taylor's latest album, titled ‘Good to See You’ was released on Friday, May 27th, 2022, and respected music critics have already taken notice.
Over the years, Henry Taylor has crafted a unique niche in his artistry, something he has managed to do by writing songs, performing, and releasing records since 1998. With 5 successful studio albums in the bag, it is now time for him to be his unapologetic self as an artist in his latest release.
‘Good to See You’ is the first album of songs written entirely with his song writing partner and long-time collaborator Monique Montgomery. Inspired by great songwriters like Neil Young, Bob Dylan, Tom Petty, and Bruce Springsteen, both Henry and Monique aspire to the song writing heights of contemporary artists Gary Louris of The Jayhawks, Jeff Tweedy of Wilco, and Canadian artists Blue Rodeo and Matt Mays.
Henry Taylor acknowledges his platform as an artist, which is why he is so aware of his responsibility as a person with influence. His songs are both timely and timeless, and resonate with perspective, depth, and an easy complexity.
